About Seatbelt
Short: Seatbelt is a native file transfer utility for Mac with built in verification and advanced queueing. It’s super fast, features persistent transfers that can be paused, and verifies a hash signature of every file. It also features ASC MHL support and searchable logs.
Long: Seatbelt is a native macOS file transfer utility for filmmakers, editors, DITs and anyone who moves a lot of data. Every file is verified with fast, industry-standard hashing, and every transfer is logged, searchable and exportable as a PDF report. Seatbelt is built around ASC MHL, the American Society of Cinematographers’ media hash list, so the chain of custody travels with the media. Transfers can be paused and resumed even across restarts, and with sequences you can copy to one fast drive and feed several backups off of that. Seatbelt is built entirely in Swift by an independent filmmaker and developer in Norway.
