Seatbelt 0.9.12
20 October 2026
- Redesigned Transfer Logs
- Every offload is listed by day, with its files in folders you can open and collapse.
- Filter by what happened to each file, behind a discreet filter button.
- New inspector panel shows every ASC MHL generation for the selected destination, with operations as a timeline.
- Cancelled transfers show which files were not copied.
- Redesigned Light Mode
- Clearer layers, calmer shadows and standard macOS controls throughout the main window and Transfer Logs.
- Redesigned Sequences
- Clearer layout that shows how each sequence fans out.
- Fully drag and drop: drag a destination onto another to chain it, and drag it out to detach it.
- Each sequence is grouped under one row in the transfer list. A failed copy no longer stops the rest, and can be retried.
- Safer copying
- Files are written as
.sbpart and only get their real name after they have been verified, so a failed copy can never be mistaken for a good one.
- Keep Both is now the default when a different file with the same name already exists at the destination. Overwrite and Skip are still available in Settings.
- Keep Both copies are recorded under their real name in logs, ASC MHL and script hooks, and are restored correctly after a relaunch.
- Re-running a transfer no longer creates duplicate Keep Both copies.
- Transfers keep the settings they were added with, even if you change Settings later or relaunch the app.
- Two transfers never write into the same folder at once; the queue waits and tells you why.
- ASC MHL
- Every finished transfer is now recorded in ASC MHL, including transfers where some files failed. Failures are recorded as metadata.
- Files that are originated into a history are checked against the source.
- Seatbelt’s working files are ignored in manifests.
- XXH128 is now the default hash type. SHA-256 has been removed, as ASC MHL does not support it.
- What’s New tour that shows new features after an update
